Stern Alumni invited to 4 great events you don’t want to miss!

Harvard Club Mobile Marketing Event – Tuesday, October 18th

Explore how to reach consumers in an increasingly mobile-centric world! Join us for an event hosted by the Harvard Club of Minnesota regarding the exciting growth and future of mobile marketing. The morning will feature Lisa Foote, President and Founder of MixMobi, and discuss how her company is bringing cutting-edge mobile marketing tools to its clients. We will also have some fun exploring QR codes, an explosively emergent new trend.

Lisa Foote left a comfortable career in financial services to launch a mobile tech startup in 2008 with her husband, Brad Roberts. The venture has since morphed into a mobile marketing platform called MixMobi, which allows retailers, restaurants and other businesses to send offers and promotions to customers’ cell phones via social networks. Its clients include Delta Sky Magazine, Twin Cities Business, Good Earth, among others. Lisa will discuss the latest trends in mobile marketing and tell us more about her journey.

Scheduled for Tuesday, October 18th, 2011 at Lurie Besikof Lapidus in Minneapolis, the morning will enable us to learn about the mobile-centric world, and how “old school” industries like print and hospitality reach consumers on their mobile devices quickly and effectively.
